space planning
Modified:
The first stage of any interior design project is the design brief where Lena will help her client analyse how they use their space on a day to day basis and what can be done to improve it.
Lena will determine a focal point for each room and analyse the way each room is used individually and as it relates to the other spaces.
At the commencement of any project, Lena will carry out a consultation at the property. Measurements, photographs & video will be taken to enable her to study her clients’ spatial requirements and lifestyle.
During subsequent meetings with clients Lena will endeavour to learn about her clients’ needs so that she can create interiors that will ensure their interior, be it their home, workplace or public area, can become whatever her clients want it to be – a place to work, relax, entertain & enjoy.
Throughout the design stage, Lena will take time to fully understand how the property is used at different times of the day. Lena understands the need for flexibility and that even rooms in large houses often serve more than one purpose.
Space planning is about the utilisation of interior space & focuses on making improvements to layout. Consideration is given to how the existing space can be adapted to meet the owners’ needs and the functions the space will have to accommodate.
Lena offers interior design services for:
- Residences
- Retail spaces
- Hotels, restaurants and bars
- Offices
- Salons
- Yachts
